If you are new to using Natural Shampoos, your hair may go through a transition/Detox period. This can last anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks. ( I called it my ponytail days) Your hair may look and feel gross for about a week then you should start noticing a difference. This will go away, it's your hair releasing the silicones build up over the years from your store-bought shampoo and conditioners.
If you have hard water these shampoo bars may not work on your hair. The hard water prevents the shampoo from performing as it should. Hard water will cause the shampoo bar to have very little to no lather. Your hair also may feel dry and will need an apple cider vinegar or aloe juice rinse after shampooing. Please be advised if you have hard water and still want to try shampoo bars you will need to follow with a rinse as suggested and hair oil (argan oil works best) after shampooing.

My family has been using these shampoo bars for years with excellent results. Hope your family loves them as much as mine!
Always remember to keep shampoo suds out of your eyes and mouth.
If soap comes in contact with your eyeballs it will sting until all of the soap/shampoo is rinsed out..
Directions: Wet hair thoroughly, Wet the shampoo bar to get a nice rich lather in your hands. You can either use the lather from your hands or place the wet shampoo bar on your hair and work your way from the scalp to the end of your hair. Wet hair again avoiding rinsing out the shampoo. Massage into scalp and hair. (if the shampoo bar has an exfoliant like Rosemary, do not apply the shampoo bar directly to the scalp. Instead, work up a thick lather in your hands and apply the lather from your hands to the scalp.) Make sure all hair has a nice thick lather. Let the shampoo sit in the hair for 2-5 minutes. Rinse out completely.
Your hair will feel different than it would with commercial shampoo. This is normal and a very good thing. You can use hair oil before drying if needed.
**Handmade shampoo and soap do not perform very well in hard water. If you have hard water you might want to follow with an apple cider vinegar or aloe juice rinse after shampooing.**
